The Moon Bar is an ongoing project, a relatively modular, portable structure intended for multiple uses. These images document the debut of The Moon Bar at PS1, as part of International Space Station, a fundraiser in December 2018 organized by Pam Lins, Trisha Baga, and myself. The Moon Bar is pictured here with two stools designed by Pam Lins.
Moon Metronome, 2018
cast iron
8.25” W x 10” H x 6” D
Moon Metronome is solid, weighing approximately 60 lbs. The doubled arms pry apart time between the ticks of the metronome; two moments held in reserve and the undivided space between them exist simultaneously. This iteration of the form was made specifically for the countertop of The Moon Bar.
